This is an excellent middle school. Teachers are very supportive, building and outside area are clean.
There are some really great teachers, but there are also some whose classes seem more of a chore than an exciting experience. Great variety of clubs and extracurricular activities.
I have depression which affects my school work in a similar way as ADHD. During this struggle, we reached out to the school for help and advice. The counseling team responded by asking if my parents were monitoring my social media and asking if I was being bullied despite my recent diagnosis of depression at the time. After the school called about the absences, we kept my diagnosis letter on file for any further issues and that was it. Afterwards, we heard nothing else from them. This was disappointing because any student struggling with a mental illness that's affecting their learning experience should not just be solved by excused absences. I later learned that there were solutions for this. This school knew that my mental illness was affecting my education for almost a year and did nothing to help and give support.
