Plant City High School is the typical small town school that you make it through but never love. Some staff were amazing and others were horrible! Some programs were great; others were mediocre and laughable. The environment is one where you go to school simply because you need to graduate not because anything allures you to the school- especially not the broken AC and hot stuffy classrooms stuffed with stinky kids! To say it in short, Plant City High School was as plain and average as it gets.

After being at Plant City High School for my entire high school career, I would have to say that the athletics have never failed me. The family aspect that the coaches bring to the table is something you can't get anywhere else. Everyone can feel like they are in a safe space and it makes the environment healthy and motivational, which allowed our school to take home multiple state championships. However, Plant City High School definitely has room for improvement. While the athletics department is above average, everywhere else is below. There are many issues to be named, but the most prominent is the discipline, or lack thereof. The lack of discipline with our students creates an allowance for tardiness, skipping, and the ability to fall behind academically. When students are not paying attention, the teachers simply give them a warning, then move on, leaving some students confused or behind because they have lost their place.
One thing that I love about Plant city high school is the school spirit! its amazing all the student go out for our events and many love to show a lot of school pride. Another thing that I like is that Plant city is very competitive especially in sports. There is many amazing and helpful student there. I always feel safe and I can't forget about the teachers! The teachers there are amazing, very inspiring. Over all Plant City High School is such a great school great people, great building, great school. if someone were to ask me about a outstanding school it would be there, I would recommend it. they have great programs and organizations.
