Plano East Senior High provides many excellent educational opportunities and provides many resources for students to excel. The school provides a wide variety of classes and clubs catered to students' specific interests, and the majority of teachers are knowledgeable and well-prepared. Not only does the school emphasize the importance of education, but it also allows students to express themselves creatively. However, the school does not seem to focus on the mental health of students, and this can be seen through their lack of mental health awareness or discussions about depression or suicide, which is a prevalent issue among teenagers. Plano East Senior High is somewhat safe, but the way they handle bullying is poor. There was a report of bullying, but the school failed to address the situation or punish the bully. The school lacks control over serious situations and focuses more on their image than the well-being of the students.

In Plano East Senior high school there was an amazing experience I had with my friends and the academic was average from the courses I was taking. Bearing in mind, I only took honors and AP classes. There was also a wide variety of clubs available for participation such as gay- straight alliance, dance teams, fashion, and more. In the school there is high diversity and cultures around. However, there is an issue upon communication with administration and students. Considering, throughout the year there were many fights, sexual assaults, bullying and more. In which admin did not give many or severe consequences too. With that some teachers and other students creates an unsafe and uncomfortable environment to certain students, where they would get touched and looked upon without permission. All in all, being around the right individuals and safe, it gave a pleasant experience in this high school.
PESH is a great school! One of the reasons why I believe so is that it really prepared me for college. The school provided AP classes, which really helped me work on my study habits and prepare for college. It also provided different levels of classes so that each student didn't feel left out no matter what their intelligence level was. PESH is also a great campus and most teachers truly care about their students succeeding.
