Plainfield South has served me well not only as a student, but a person. I will be entering senior year in a couple weeks and I cannot be more excited! The cougar pride and enthusiastic teachers make me proud to represent South. It is a great school with amazing people within. I couldn't ask for a better high school experience.
Review Plainfield South High School
It needs some work, but I felt it was so overcrowded that it was hard for everyone working there to really focus on individual needs. I liked most of my teachers, but I felt so many of the same courses were different based on the teachers. Like most students from a chemistry course with a certain teacher passed, while others with a different teacher failed, and that made it a lot more difficult. I did however see effort made by the administration, which was good, but they definitely need a 5th high school...definitely felt too over populated there.
Plainfield South High School was like any other High School in the area, it had good things and bad things. The good things about the school is there was never a dull moment if you in braced school pride. The countless number of school clubs and activity allowed everyone to try something new or interesting to them. On the other hand a few staff members ruined the vibe. You could tell they didn't like there job by there work quality and attitudes. The good thing is it was only a few staff members that showed these characteristic.
