My time at Plainfield Central was overall pretty good. There are many teachers who are there because they love to see growth and impact their students. Those teachers are the ones who made coming to school every day worth it! The services offered to students were okay and most staff members would try to make the school a better place. However, the behavior and actions of some members of the student population were sometimes embarrassing and made my classmates and I wish we went to another high school.
I had a pleasant experience at Plainfield High School - CC. I personally took pride in attending the oldest high school in Plainfield which expanded rapidly to a current total of 4. You can feel this sense of pride in general from staff, students, sports history, and rebound after the 1990 tornado.
All of the resources are available at PHS-CC to succeed after high school education. It is what the student makes of it. Additionally, it has a very traditional and safe suburban setting.
There's nothing in particular I would have changed about my class of 2012 experience. Maybe more parking for major sporting events and graduations would be nice. But overall would recommend PHS-CC to anyone locally and parents looking for a positive change from other areas.

Plainfield High School was a great experience! I earned a well rounded education, the teachers and staff were very helpful and informative, and they are always there for the students if they need it. The activities I joined allowed me to meet great friends and make amazing memories.
