The staff at the school has always been helpful and I haven't had any horrible encounters yet. The only distasteful part of the school is a few of the students that decide to make life difficult for the rest of us. The work teachers assign is easy most of the time, although a better and more widely adapted system for assigning work should be used, because currently teachers will either use google classroom, Remind or just normally assign work. Other than a few little quirks the school is amazing. Could still use more flowers though.
PCHS is a great school with a great community. Participating in honors and AP classes has challenged me academically. I feel supported by all my teachers and feel they have my best interests in mind. I have an active extracurricular life, participating in choir, Madrigals, drama club, Fall Plays, Spring Musicals, Wildcat Ambassador, Wildcat Care Club, and so much more. Teacher encourage participation in clubs and make sure they offer memberships that help your academic life such as the Tri-M Honors Society, the International Thespian Society, etc. Highly recommend this school.
My time at Plainfield Central was overall pretty good. There are many teachers who are there because they love to see growth and impact their students. Those teachers are the ones who made coming to school every day worth it! The services offered to students were okay and most staff members would try to make the school a better place. However, the behavior and actions of some members of the student population were sometimes embarrassing and made my classmates and I wish we went to another high school.
