Placerita Junior High School Reviews

I went here two years ago and I loved this school. The activities were fun. The campus was safe. The administration, while sometimes bad at handling situations, did care about their students. Most the teachers there are great with a few exceptions. I recommend this school to everyone. Its very diverse and has a lot of school spirit.
I really loved the teachers at PJHS. Junior high years are the years I remember most fondly, and it was in large part because of them. While the dress code did feel strict at times, it wasn’t ever a huge detriment and, if it feels that bad, it’s only a two-year school. The school was very open to various personal situations and did their best to make accommodations. The faculty and administration were friendly, and the campus was open and spacious. They renovated the fields after I left, and they look nice from the outside! Its nickname of “Trasherita” is not true in the slightest.
An incredible school with teachers who emphasize preparation for high school and make sure the student has a great time both socially and academically. It also offers courses for those who are preparing themselves for Advanced Placement in high school which I found very intriguing as many of the courses did seem a bit dull and easy.
