My overall experience at Piper High School? As much as average. Yet not anything like a regular high school. We recently received a new principal, Mr. Gomez . Definitely managed to change the school, for worst to come. They only directly focus on students who have an excellent career path ahead of them. To the other's, not so much, but I do have to say that there are teachers, that indeed, take the time out of their day to sit down and help students. You could say that the administrators only care for the students that are either in deep need of help, or students that have a strong academic standing. For the rest however, they leave to fend for themselves. Yes indeed the school tries to get students involved in extracurricular activities but if it's not a sport, or can get the school on the news. Then the school doesn't really care and actually try to shut it down. In my opinion of course, Piper High School is an astonishing school, if you have a solid career path ahead of you.
Review Piper High School
In my school, there are many issues that the admin and students have to face every day. From my perspective, students aren't regarded as much. They are forced into classes and when they ask to be switched, there's "nothing we can do". Many teachers try to be mentors for the kids, but most of them don't want the help and would rather do whatever they waned. If you hang out with the right people, Piper can be a good experience. I'm involved in yearbook & SGA among other things, but those two programs really opened me up to the school and got me more involved.
What i like most about Piper High School is that they try to get you involved in everything that going on around the school . The administrations are always there and ready to support you at any time. I know that because am a per-counselor . No students left behind and the teachers are so understandable . The clubs are amazing , there is a club for everyone . The only way a student can say high school was or is boring - well that because they lazy, because you got to enroll in some activities, clique to get the experience. The principal is awesome. He's always around getting to know us , making sure we are comfortable . Am a senior , and the last 3 years were the best years of my high school and i know the last one is going to be miraculous.
