We were nervous about changing to PVCA, but everything we were nervous about has been addressed and we couldn’t be more happy with the school. We have 3 kids attending, the teachers have been amazingly responsive and love our kids just as much as we do! The academics are right on and as an educator myself, I am so happy with the learning taking place. My kids are safe, comfortable, happy and learning and growing in the Lord. Administration has been quick to respond and are forward thinking while upholding moral and ethical Christ centered values. My kids get more electives than they would in public schools in a culturally and linguistically diverse community! It’s such a warm welcoming community! The teachers have even shared their cell phone numbers and are happy to communicate regarding our children’s needs. I can’t say enough!
I would not send my children anywhere else. PVCA has a healthy balance: challenging academics, moral instruction, and excellent culture. My two sons have been at PVCA since preschool and have never expressed an interest in leaving to try public or online schooling. What I love especially about PVCA, is they are always measuring themselves and improving upon any shortcomings they may be dealing with. Academics are challenging, but the faculty is gracious, patient, and encouraging. Students are encouraged to grow in their faith, but not forced. However, whether they believe or not, God's TRUTH is the common thread in every subject. The critical thinking skills my boys are learning will be priceless as they move on to higher education and the work force. I couldn't be happier.
I attended PVCA from 6th grade through my high school graduation. The school’s student/teacher ratio allowed for excellent and focused instruction and individual care. I was prepared, not only for college, but for life. Being surrounded by a wide array of ethnicities and cultures at PVCA is something I realize now I had taken for granted. I enjoyed my academic, athletic, and arts involvement. PVCA cares about each of them. Middle school and high school can be tough, but I look back fondly on those years and the fiends that I made and keep even today!
