All four of my years at Pinson Valley High School have been some of the most memorable times in my years of schooling. Just growing up and evolving into adulthood with the same kids you’ve known since middle school really has an impact on the way you look back on your life. Pinson Valley is led by a great principal in Mr. Michael Turner and is destined for many more great achievements following his leadership. Not only does Mr. Turner care about his students academically but also personally. He never fails to greet students who walk by and even try to make jokes sometimes to put a smile on one’s face. Pinson has a great student body and great athletes/sports teams. The best high-school in Alabama, Pinson Valley, will always have a special place not only in my memories but also in my heart. GO INDIANS!

Overall I have had a pretty good Highschool experience. I am involved in many school organizations and extracurricular. That has help me connect to others and give back to my study body.
Being in the Marching band has taken me to some very unique places to perform and experience. For example, last year we marched in New Orleans and performed half time show for the Sugar Bowl. I. The Superdome! That was an amazing experience. I run track and have met some great people from others schools. I think being involved and and engaged in school spirit has really helped me experience Highschool years to remember.
Attending Pinson Valley High School was an amazing experience! Within my four years, this school has helped me evolved into the person I am today. As a freshman, I entered high school shy and timid. I would have the tendency to believe participating in extracurricular activities (except for sports) were lame, and were not the activities "everybody" was doing. By the start of my sophomore year, with the help of my teachers, administrators, and friends, I learned how to become a leader, and not to be what everyone was, but to be myself, and go the path that God purposefully placed me in. By the end of my senior year, I participated in my school's theater department, Dual-Enrollment Program, cheer team (as mascot), and SkillsUSA progam (as President from 10th grade - 12th grade) earning multiple awards and honors.
