Pinkerton provides a myriad of opportunities for the students! The campus is beautiful, multiple buildings with each building serving a different purpose. For example, the Sciences have a building separate from the technical programs, there is a building for the arts and theater, and even a separate building for the incoming freshman to allow them an easier transition into the Pinkerton environment. The sports teams are numerous and diverse in options. Various clubs and programs including Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) which allows participants to enter into certain branches of the military at a higher rank once they have completed a minimum number of years in the program, they also offer clubs such as the ASL Club – American Sign Language. The options for the students rival that of a college campus.

Being at Pinkerton Academy for four consecutive years has shown me the culture and the feel of being a student there!
Administration is very kind. If you are respectful and abide by the reasonable rules at the school, administration, teachers, and faculty alike are unlikely to give you trouble.
There is a wide array of clubs available to people of all different interest groups. If you are an outdoor person, you may find interest in their Bass Fishing Club. If you enjoy computers, anime, Japanese culture, or even Harry Potter, there are clubs for that, as-well! There is little difficulty finding people with similar interests to yourself here!
If you require assistance with learning, coping, or managing high school in any way, the school counseling office and 504 rooms are always open and eager to help those who need it! This school is great for anyone looking for a warm, safe environment to learn and flourish as a student!
As a current student that attends Pinkerton Academy, I think that the high school has great academic opportunities and has a great variety of clubs and sports. Pinkerton has many different courses you can take to help you get prepared for college. Also, it has a variety of CTE courses you can take that will count as college credits. Pinkerton is known for their sports program, so we take pride in each one of them. Pinkerton has over 100 different clubs, so all students will feel included and find people with the same passion. Pinkerton's huge student population allows for the students to find a place in the high school academically and socially.
