Piner high school has a great environment because of the people who make it a welcoming place. Sports are very popular in the school because of how much people love going to games and supporting the team. Not only is the school spirited but it also is very diverse. The school is scattered with different ethnicities and races. In addition, the school is very supportive in academics because it is a strong STEM magnet revolved school. Piner is equipped with many extracurricular activities so students can become more involved in activities other than academics. For example, Key Club, SSA, French Club, Asian Club, Latino Club, GSA Club, Feminism Club, Gaming Club, Dance Club, and other clubs that students have come together to develop. Overall, the high school is a well balanced community that brings academics, student recognition, involvement, and individualism to attention.

Piner High School is one of the best schools in Santa Rosa. Academically, the school is filled with programs such as ECM (Early College Program) in which you can take 4 periods instead of 6 and take classes at Santa Rosa Junior College with free transportation. Clubs like Key Club are very popular. The College & Career Center is amazing, filled with a lot of information and a helpful and kind counselor. The students are diverse and kind to new people at the school. Piner gets you ready for any plans you have after attending.
I am a sophomore at Piner High School. My experience as a student at Piner High has been great! The students there are extremely kind and there isn't any discrimination over color, race, ethnicity, etc. The teachers are very helpful and always try to help you with your needs. The library has hours open after school and tutors are there to help you with you homework. Mr. Sullivan the college and career counselor is very helpful and understanding. Piner High has a variety of clubs. If you don't find a club that you want to join, you can make you own! The Early College Magnet Program is very popular at Piner and has helped students get college credit while still attending High School. Overall, this year there has rarely been fights. We are mostly calm students. It all depends who your friends are. Our own police officer is there to prevent things from occurring. The supervisors are always getting along with all the students.
