Pine View is a terrific college preparatory school. The students are all focused and driven towards further education. The teachers take interest in teaching and preparing the students for the real world and the upcoming challenges they will face as they enter college. The campus is open and allows for a college feel; giving students freedom and independence. Pine View offers a broad range of Honors and AP courses to better prepare the students. It hard, but so is the real world!
Review Pine View School
Pine View School for the Gifted is a public, college-preparatory, coeducational school located in Osprey, Florida. The school is the only full-time program in Florida for intellectually gifted students in the elementary through high school level.[1] The mission of Pine View School is to provide a qualitatively different learning environment that nurtures a passion for intellectual curiosity; encourages risk taking, and independence; and is committed to a tradition of academic excellence and social responsibility. There are currently around 2,210 students at Pine View.[2] Pine View serves students in 2nd through 12th grades.
I appreciate the effort that most teachers put into their classes and students and I feel very prepared for college as a result. I never feel like my education is put second to another issue. I wish the administration treated students better; the school receives a large amount of money through donations from parents, yet students get the short end of the stick. The school built several Classrooms of Tomorrow and is renovating all of the buildings, yet students have a parking lot that is made out of shell and floods every time it rains.
