Pine Hills Adventist Academy is a private, K-12 school located in the foothills of the California Sierra Nevadas. The student body is predominantly white, but is still more diverse than many other Nor-Cal schools. While Pine Hills doesn't provide many elective courses to choose from, the ones they do offer are incredibly inclusive. If a student wishes to play on the basketball team or participate in the school musical production, they are welcomed regardless of skill. I would like to see the restrictive dress code changed. I think it overemphasizes the student's distractability from outward appearances. I think that a school with such a small student-to-teacher ratio has the ability to not only educate on an academic level, but to also educate students on self-confidence, empowerment, and self-discipline.

I enjoyed my high school years there. The drama program, as well as the other music and arts programs, are wonderful. The small community provides a Christian atmosphere, and people support each other.
I have attended pine hills all four years of high school and I have really liked it for the most part. All schools have their disadvantages.. not going to lie but they do have a lot of cool opportunities. I like the school because its really small and allows for kids to be in moe activities relating to school. so for sports and leadership positions are easier to get because there are a lot of people. I the different variety of sports they offer and our coaches and staff are just so welcoming. they offer. lot of outreach for those wanting to get involved in the community as well. Overall pine hills is a great place to be and we offer all grade levels as well.
