I have enjoyed my time at PFHS. It's a pretty solid school with a lot of diversity. It doesn't offer many AP courses to students due to low funding for teachers, not enough AP teachers, and overcrowding in non-AP courses, which is unfortunate to honors students who are trying to prepare for college. I have had some amazing teachers who are passionate about their job, but I've also had some pretty bad ones who don't care. There's not much school spirit, but it has been improving and most of us do appreciate our school. Lot's of fights happen, but thats to be expected from any school in Fayetteville, NC haha. There's a good amount of clubs and activities for students to join. We have great music/arts teachers. Our sports teams are pretty solid. Overall, Pine Forest is a pretty average but solid school and I'm happy to have spent the last 4 years here.

The experience I encountered at Pine Forest High School has been the uplifting, most hard working, inspiring, and a teachable group of teachers I have had for the my ninth, and tenth grade.
This school's sport department long distance, and football has also taught me team leadership, agreeing to disagree, and good sportsmanship towards your members , just as important among others on the opposite team. We have grown to help each other by talking our problems out after class, excepting our differences.
Thank you for the opportunity to have my experiences shared among all of our school districts.
Sincerely,
Aiesha Hernandez 10th grader
Pine Forest High School is by far the most diverse school I have yet to encounter. Where minorities take up a majority of the student population you get to experience and become a part of new backgrounds and cultures that would've never expected. We have pretty decent sports teams that have been known to win conference champions and making into state play offs. On the academic aspect, there could be some improvement as I feel like we could have better education and better teachers who actually enjoy teaching rather then doing it just for money. Overall the expiernce at this school isn't a bad one. The people you meet there are ones that you will never forget!
