Pine Creek High School on the surface is a nice school. It has lots of computers available, library to access, good teachers, administration always roaming the building, and lots of extra curriculum activities. However, going to this school was hardly an amazing experience. For starters, the school only really cares about football. There was a mandatory assembly for when the football won state, but there was no acknowledgement over any other sport that was winning competitions, nothing for the theater department, nothing for choir. and when a student committed suicide, all the school did was send out an email. It's also impossible to get a hold of anyone in administration because they are never in their offices and the security guards and just plain rude and mean. Day to day school life at Pine Creek is okay as most of the teachers are good and fun to talk to, but outside of that, this school is just average.
Review Pine Creek High School
For the most part, I enjoyed Pine Creek High School. One big perk was the fact that it was a tech school; every student had an iPad and in addition had access to computers all over the school. The only major issues I can think of are the bathrooms and the hall passes. I've heard bad things about the boys' bathrooms, for example, doors missing from stalls and vaping. The school just recently set up an electronic hall pass system, and it's been annoying both students and teachers because it's tedious and it makes you feel like the school is breathing down your neck.
I loved everything about high school. I was a part of the marching band and the women's lacrosse team and I enjoyed my time with all my teammates! Everyone I met was friendly and kind. Teachers were great if you had questions or needed help. There are varied extra curricular classes for many interests to take in between required courses.
