The teachers at Pikeville High School are wonderful! They care about each students success the same. We learn a lot in our classes and are held to very high standards. However, the teachers and staff make sure school is made fun! All of our sports teams are very successful, and the school makes sure to recognize all of them. One thing I would change about Pikeville High School, is that every student received an equal punishment. Sometimes, students are favored over who they are or who their parents are, and that is not fair.

Something I would like to see Pikeville high school change is that they need harder classes and they also need to provide a larger variety of classes. They also need to get the students more aware on how they have the ability to take college classes at the local university if the high school doesn't provide it. Also, they need to stop doing some of the requirements that are needed to take other classes because that just slows the students down and makes the students have to take unnecessary classes. Another thing is that the school need to stop showing favoritism towards certain sports and help fund others.
Overall I have had an amazing high school experience. The teachers are kind and most of them teach you want you need to know. You always have an adult to help guide you in the right direction and give you some good advice. One thing I would like to see change in this high school is fairness to all sports. Every sport should be celebrated for their accomplishments. I would also like to see more after schools clubs and organizations.
