My experience at Pike Liberal Arts School has been overall very poor. Most of the teachers there have very close-minded beliefs and are very quick to share them with you. On multiple occasions, Teachers have taught racial propaganda as well as have outright said racial slurs in class, and the administration lets them get away with it. Bullying at PLAS is a real problem that is often swept under the rug because it is mostly done by beloved athletes and children of rich families. Any time I have reported bullying, no action was really taken. The administration is neglectful of student mental health and will always turn the other cheek if the child in the wrong is popular or rich.

Pike has a great family atmosphere. The school has Christian-based values, and the teachers are excellent. There are several different clubs and organizations to be part of as well. I like that community service hours are required to graduate.
PLAS is a family atmosphere that provides a safe environment for our children to learn and experience opportunities for sports, arts and community service. The new headmaster is a wonderful leader that has implemented some great new ideas.
