Piermont Village School Reviews

1 review
My children have had ups and downs at Piermont Village School. At times I was disappointed that when they struggled it seemed that the teachers didn't put forth effort to help them do better, with the exception of the Reading Specialist. Since then we have gotten some new teachers who are full of excitement about teaching and watching the kids grow and achieve success. Piermont is a wonderful school but it is small so there are limitations. Sports are often co-ed but I like that as it lets the kids learn to play with different abilities and I think makes the girls more aggressive. Parents need to step up their involvement. The PTO was revived and was very active for a while but now it's dying again. Younger families need to get more involved. Area high schools are always welcoming of PVS students saying they are prepared, well mannered and overall good students/children.
