Piedmont could do better. Parents that wish for their child to come here, I would reconsider that thought.
This school reeks of weed and all sorts of disgusting drugs.
The teachers barely even teach the students anything. Some teachers just tell the students to work from a workbook, and expect you to understand their quizzes from that. Even electives aren't great, I had Life Skills for an elective once. All we did was study and do quizzes in that class. The teachers that actually care for the students and teach the proper things, either get fired, overworked or get moved to another school. We've always had a new principal each year. It's not a very professional move on their part.
Students get in a lot of fights, and no one really does anything about it. You can expect them to have quite an attitude towards others. However, if you pick the right people, you will find some good friends and have a decent time there.
Overall, I don't recommend having your child come here.

It had super great lunch food, and a lot of the teachers cared about the students. There were also tons of awesome programs available for students to participate in if they really wanted to, and these programs were often enriching for a young student.
Some teachers thoroughly explain their concepts and make sure that all students who want help can get it while other teachers just do the bare minimum by reading exactly what the textbook says.
