Pickering is a tiny school though this does build opportunities to build closer connections with staff and students. There is also a lot of diversity and there isn't any predjudice towards others regarding sex, religion, or race. Academic achievement is praised though I wish the staff would give more understanding and see more potential in the less academic students that do exceptionally well and shouldn't be put down.
I went to Pickering my entire life and it was great! I had teachers who cared for me and helped me when I needed it! I graduated early and that was hell on its own, so having teachers who cared meant a lot.
My daughter absolutely loves Pickering! She refuses to go to any other school and she is a junior! She went to Evan's for a couple of years and absolutely hates it. Loved her friends but as far as administration and teachers she was not pleased. Couldnt ask for better teachers and amazing administration at Pickering! GO LADY RED DEVILS!
