I transferred from another school to Pickens High during my Junior year due to lack of drive & motivation at my previous school, not myself, but the atmosphere of the school. The school had low encouragement. I feel there is more student to student rapport & interaction now at my new school, Pickens, and the teachers/coaches are very encouraging. It was a great move for me!

Pickens High School is truly a great school. It is my Senior year, and I wouldn't have wanted to go to any other school. All of my teachers have been outstanding. I truly feel prepared for college due to the simple fact that I had some great teachers. Not only that, but there are so many different classes and electives to choose from. From drama and arts, to science and math electives, to driving and writing classes. No matter what you want to do or learn about, Pickens High School is sure to have it and help you accomplish your dreams! I am thankful to be graduating with this school and for all of the great teachers, administrators and staff that work here!
I love the teachers; they are very well educated and encouraging. The student-body has a vast diversity. The spirit of the individuals is inspirational and very contagious. Overall, I love Pickens High School. Go Blue Flame!
