Many of the teachers are pleasant, however, there are some that are difficult to work with and are not conducive for excelling in the classroom. The clubs that are present at Phillipsburg High School offer a wide variety of areas of interest, including the Foreign Language Club and the Multicultural Club. Although midterms and finals are stressful for students I have found that midterms and finals are more difficult to prepare for in college due to not having preparation experience in high school. The AP courses that are offered allow for students that are able to earn college credit while in high school. From my experience, the teachers that instruct AP courses have the AP test in mind throughout the course allowing a considerable amount of time for AP test prep. The facilities of the school are pleasant due to the newly constructed campus. Despite its unfavorable location atop a hill those who are unlucky enough to have to walk to the premises actually have to walk uphill both ways.

Phillipsburg High School is a very tight nit community. Everyone there knows everyone. The teachers genuinely care about teaching their students and strive to make sure that no one is falling behind. The athletes of Phillipsburg are some of the best in Phillipsburg. We have a very strong friendly football rivalry with our sister school Easton Area High School. The community is very hard pressed with athletics. Unfortunately, they put just about all of their interest into the athletics and not much into all of the other extracurricular activities. The theater department has a great facility for 20 years ago. They really need a more up to date facility to operate as well as more storage for things.
Good school with good teachers. Nice facilities and a lot more space compared to the old one! There were plenty of good classes, and engaging clubs and school events. Most teachers are pretty strict, but it is evened out with more relaxed teachers that understand we are still kids, and need to learn certain things. Some rules are a bit ridiculous or too strict, and can use a bit of tweaking. Besides that, it is a good school with good staff and can be a real blast if you give it your all.
