Phillips Academy is a wonderful high school! The summer session there is amazing! It's educational but has loads of fun with it! It's cool how you could interact with people around the world. Everyone here is very friendly and amazing! The food there at Paresky Commons is delicious! I would recommend middle schoolers to come and try out the summer session, and upcoming high schoolers and high schoolers to come and apply there at Phillips Academy!

Phillips Academy has outstanding faculty, amazing facilities, with talented and caring diverse student body.

Phillips Academy would rival the most illustrious universities and colleges in academic rigor, intellectual and artistic opportunities, inspirational and enlightened academic programs encouraging challenging, rigorous and creative pursuits on an amazing campus in Boston suburbs.

Phillips Academy is blessed with Incredible athletic facilities, and a unique art museum on an idyllic 250+ acre campus in the heart of Andover, Mass, near the rich history and incredible academic, artistic, and historical institutions of Boston, and 20 miles from the beauty of the Massachusetts shores.

Phillips Academy has a rich history of illustrious students who share a deep commitment to each other, their alma mater, and the world we all share to make a positive difference.
Phillips Academy is an amazing institution with endless opportunities. However, the science classes are confined to lectures with minimal lab time. While Phillips Academy encourages critical thinking through Harkness-style discussion in their humanities classes, STEM courses retain a traditional format. I think that true scientific thinking and problem-solving skills are built through hands-on application. While my high school science classes have allowed me to gain a strong foundation for such applications, I feel that free time for exploration or discussion has been missing. For example, in my biology class last year during a unit about genetics our teacher briefly mentioned the potential for so-called “designer babies” and the ability to eliminate most diseases prenatally. This immediately raised many ethical questions for me. I was disappointed to find that there was no space in the curriculum to talk about the impacts and implications of this technology on society.
