Petrolia High School has allowed me to educate myself with greater knowledge and has allowed me to reach my potential as a young student. I feel the close-net school and community has allowed me to greatly expand my horizons. I have attended at Petrolia for 12 years and look forward to the opportunity to continue my education at a institution of higher learning. My goals are to become a Registered Nurse at Midwestern State University. Through the course of my high school career I received a certification to be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I have been working in a long-term care facility for five months now and it allowed me to realize the interest I have in Nursing. Petrolia High School will always be in my heart and I am so lucky to have had the opportunities and education that this school has provided me with.

We had teachers that really loved their jobs! I would like to see teachers like that hired again. It’s a very small school, which led to the students getting quite a bit of one on one teaching.
This place is pretty friendly, has a nice staff, and a pretty normal school. The teachers can be tough sometimes, but as long as you are willing to put the effort in they will be friendly. Overall you would maybe would get one bad teacher that will give a ton of homework, and the school needs to have more classes, because it may not have every class you may want.
