Peru Catholic School Reviews
Rating 3 out of 5 2 reviews
I had 2 children that went through the Peru Catholic school system from PreK thru 8th grade graduation. I found the teachers and the two different Superintendents that served during that time to be eminently approachable, very focused on not only grades, but student spiritual development as well.
I attended this school from preK - 8th grade and graduated in 2011. This school is based off of money, status and the more money you have the more important you are to the faculty & staff. They don't care about kids as an individual or what their needs are. I was bullied from kids in my class and teachers who didn't want to be bothered with a kid that had ADHD because it required them to actually be compassionate. There were only 2 teachers that reached and helped me, but they are both gone now; 1 retired and 1 was dismissed due to the corrupt inner workings of the school. People will remember the article in the News Tribune and the protesters outside over this teachers dismissal. But that's how this school works.
