The arts program is very good here! However the school has many biased sports programs that only offer varsity positions to students that have attended perrysburg schools most of all of their lives. The administration does not advocate for social inclusion and makes it very difficult for new students to get involved and feel a part of the community. The student population is known for the involvement with drugs and other illicit activities from the surrounding citizens of perrysburg. Overall there is a poor social quality for students and mediocre administration to lead the students. Do not recommend.

Overall, PHS is an excellent school. As a student here, my experience has been incredibly beneficial to my educational and developmental growth. I have been awarded various opportunities to participate in school organizations, such as Orchestra, Cross Country, a writing club, and Mindfulness Club. As well as these, I’ve been encouraged to pursue changes within the school to help create a better environment for myself and my peers. I was approached by a counselor asking if I would be interested in starting a student organization focused on inclusivity for students from all backgrounds and all walks of life. PHS is academically rigorous and focuses on preparing college-ready students. However, I would bring back the optional semester-long Personal Finance class. I believe that financial literacy is an important skill in life to properly make informed monetary decisions.
I came here right as my freshman year was starting and ever since the beginning I've had an amazing experience. All students and teachers are nice and supportive, providing you alternative ways to learn and experience high school. I have never had experienced any negativity nor heard of much here either!
