The excellence-shining Perrysburg High School shaped me into the person I am today. My intellectual curiosity was developed by its persistent dedication to academic rigor, and personal development was promoted by its dynamic community. I found my passions and developed important skills thanks to motivating teachers and a wide range of extracurricular activities.
I had a life-changing education in Perrysburg's classrooms. My desire to learn was sparked by the committed teachers' vast knowledge and persistent support. They pushed me to question authority, think critically, and look outside the boundaries of the text books. I gained a solid foundation in a variety of topics under their direction, preparing me for future undertakings
The active community of Perrysburg offered a supportive setting for personal development. I discovered myself in a broad community of people

Perrysburg High School will create very varying experiences. The academics and the athletics are competitive and well-funded, which is positive. However, this is partially because the school, the area, and the students are wealthy.
This can feel very socially isolating for people who do not come from money as there is a snooty air of competition for material things and status.
Find your people and stay true to your values and this should not impact you heavily, but is definitely noticeable about this school.

I appreciate the rigor of the courses offered at Perrysburg High School. I believe the classes are excellent at properly preparing you for college because of their challenge and work load, this however can be very taxing on students. For example, my mother said when reading one of my papers for my Global Studies class sophomore year that she never had to write anything like that even in her masters program. Similarly to her, my sister with an academic standing of a junior in college as a mechanical engineer major says that Perrysburg math classes were far harder than any of hers in college. Perrysburg High School allows for a smoother transition into college, but with how difficult the classes are, I would wish to see more options for students to get support. Balancing these difficult classes with sports, clubs, and working proved to be very difficult without a good support system.
