I have never felt out of place at this school. I moved to Gilbert right before my freshman year, and I didn't know one person. Now, as a senior, I have learned so much--both academically and socially--and will genuinely miss the opportunities and friendships I have made at Perry. The teachers truly take care of their students, investing so much time and energy before and after school to make sure the students learn the information needed for their class. As a honors/AP student, my teachers have prepared me well for the tests at the end of the school year. I couldn't have asked for a better high school experience, and I know that I will be back from college to visit the teachers, coaches, and even the administration. These people have taught me what I know and have supported me through multiple health issues through my high school years. It's a great day in Puma Nation!

I had a typical high school experience in terms of school spirit and education. I unfortunately had four back surgeries from 2010-2012. So I was not there all that much. I had one surgery my freshman year, one my sophomore year, and two my junior year. I do not remember a lot from those year but I was there is spirit! I would like to see the teachers attitudes and compassion change toward the students and the faculty treat the students with care and respect. After all, we are there to become successful adults, shouldn't we be treated like one? My other concern would be the way the school as a whole handles bullying. Bullying is not something to be taken lightly and at Perry it was not taken in a serious way whatsoever. Other than that I'd say its a pretty good school!
I attended Perry High School for 4 years and I absolutely loved it! The people here are friendly and it feels like a giant community. Students tend to band together rather than form cliques and groups which I know is different at a lot of other schools. The dances, sports, events, and clubs are all welcoming and make for a fun experience. The teachers care about the students and want everyone to succeed. I was involved in student government and got to be behind the scenes in a lot of events and I saw students reactions to everything. Perry High School is full of talent, success, and I wouldn't have rather gone to any other school.
