Its a great school overall,The staff is really nice and caring. 6th grade was really fun, I had some nice teachers some were okay teachers. Not all of my teachers were great some were okay but some of my teachers can be better. One thing i don't like is it very crowed yes like 3 or 4 times i fell down. The history hall and the tech ed hall is real crowed, And fights happen to NOT kidding. One tip i have is to get to class quickly to avoid the crowd. Its a really excellent school over all!

I was worried about the size and safety of PHMS for my son, but it has been a great school for him. The teachers he has had have been wonderful, better than his ES, which is top rated. The vice principals there are great, they complement each other well. Ms. Duncan is the best VP any school could have! It really has been a good experience for him so far and I am thankful to the teachers and administrators there who really care about the students.
Average school overall. Fights at least weekly in the hallways and lunches as well as smoking. Super overcrowded, many students don't have gym lockers, hallways are filled to the brim, there are trailers and teachers who take their materials on a cart (essentially "renting" other teachers' classrooms when not in use as they don't have their own.) Some teachers expect you to literally teach yourself and some have admitted to not even knowing the material they're teaching. There are a few teachers that will go the extra mile. Guidance is very good though and the teachers respect flash passes, etc. The music and art programs are really great too and the couple sports teams that they do have are really good. Overall, safety could be better, academics are okay, diversity is great, arts programs are good, teachers are okay, guidance is great, and sports teams are good.
