Math- the teacher is delightful, just be prepared to listen to her talk about her whole life. her teaching style is a little off-beat but it was very adaptable.
English- i won't name names but one of the teachers is a bit self-righteous and lowkey a misogynist even if he poses himself as a woke elder of the gay community. then there's the other english teacher who is delightful, and the assignments prepared me for the english composition classes i'd take in college.
Humanities- all of the teachers are so cool! their teaching styles and lesson subjects were very engaging.
science- theyre both weird teachers, but the chem teacher knows what he's talking about.
(studio) art- once you're past the foundations classes, the world is your oyster. i don't know how the school is going to move on without sandy, but her classes changed my life. I gained so much knowledge and gained so many opportunities. i was introduced to so many things that ended up fundamentally changing my art for the best!

I applied to Perpich for my upperclassmen years there wasn't any hesitation to apply. The public school that I was attending at the time offered limited art classes, all of which I had already taken. I was ready to learn as much as I possibly could and to meet and connect with as many young artists as I could.
I started my junior year at the Perpich Arts Education Center as a full-time on-campus student. The environment at Perpich celebrates artist ideas not just from a visual arts perspective, but also from music, dance, theater, and literature. I was given the opportunity to explore my own artistic voice through a variety of mediums such as drawing, painting, printmaking, film and digital photography, graphic design, jewelry design, and portfolio development, which gave me a foundation to venture into mediums that I’m passionate about. The ability to stay at the dorm on campus gave me the time, tools, and studio facilities to continue to develop my work outside of the classroom.

The community is great! Compared to my old school this high school has an extremely accepting community and the staff is also really nice. As far as academics they're sub-par, so I would suggest looking into PSEO if you want more rigor. They also do well with accommodating special needs and interests if that's something that you need. Make sure that you do your own research for college because the counselor isn't very good about getting everyone's credits organized and ready for graduation senior year!!
