From Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School

Cyber Schools follow an instructional model that’s similar to home schooling, without the responsibility of purchasing curriculum and designing lessons. Students are required to log attendance every day, submit assignments, attend online live lessons and complete the state mandatory testing. Using different types of online programs, students receive their education through an electronic device and the internet.

PA Leadership Charter School opened its doors in 2004 and has been growing steadily every year; it now educates over 2600 students across Pennsylvania.

PALCS has been a savior for our son. He is 13 and has autism, sensory processing disorder and other learning disabilities. It has been the best decision we ever made! From day one, the school was so supportive of him and understood his learning differences. He has the most incredible, supportive team of teachers and therapists. There are opportunities for socialization and he has grown leaps and bounds in the last 2 years. He's even been on the honor roll! He tells me he never wants to leave PALCS and I agree with him completely. PALCS has truly been the best thing that ever happened to us.

We have been with PALCS for 3 years and it has been a game changer for our family! We homeschooled before but with baby #5 it was getting difficult. PALCS is the perfect combination of homeschool and public school. My kids are getting a great education and still have the freedom of working at home. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to get to know your child and family. The care and attention is individual and I have seen my children grow exponentially since we started with PALCS. I can not recommend them enough!
So far so good! My daughter is enjoying her time at PALCs. In the past my daugher was not able to take advanced courses or her regular BM school will make it difficult. At PALCS it was just a matter of sending and email with her report card and grades and she was accepted into the advance course. Her teachers are amazing. They are on top with answering questions and emails and they are there for help. I got a call the other day to tell me how well my daughter participated during her live lesson. Mr. Borusky is a great Social Studies teacher. He is outgoing and fun. My daughter loves his lessons.
