PA Cyber will be what you make it for your family. It will not provide enough teams, enough awards, enough clubs, enough extra curricular activities, enough volunteer opportunities, or enough field trips. IT WILL give you a safe environment to learn; kids like me who used to live in dangerous school districts where drugs and prostitution ran rampant found refuge in the tools that PA Cyber gave to our parents. PA Cyber gave me a safe and easy way for me to get an education while enjoying trips to the safer outskirts when I couldn't afford to live there on my own; I could do school anywhere that had an internet connection! That was awesome. In hindsight, I should have employed more time in seeking extra curricular activities on my own so that I would enrich my experience and also have a better chance applying to college.

The Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School is a wonderful school that enriched my life greatly. I was able to build strong relationships with the students and faculty, grow as an intellectual, and advance my character to become who I am truly meant to be. PA Cyber's program allowed me to improve my academics and converse with my teacher and peers online, usually all while in the comfort of my own home. It is a school that combines purposeful learning with pleasant, flexible conditions. However, the social interaction could be improved: such as connecting more with teachers, doing activities outside of the computer, and being more high-touch than high-tech. With that said, I've grown from the school and made the best out of my experience, which wasn't very difficult, because of the school's dedicated community!
Cyber school welcomed me with opened arms my senior year of high school. I had decided it was best for me to finish school this way rather then attending public school. I did so well, I was congratulated with the highest honors for my astounding efforts and grades. There was a huge ceremony for my class in Harrisburg, Pa. Even though it's school online, the graduation experience was still an amazing and traditional one!
