Penn Griffin is a wonderful school! The small class sizes give you a lot of room to really connect with the other students and staff. You are able to explore your interests in the right different arts offered, and with the range of clubs and diversity, you get to explore a lot about what makes you, YOU! We are very open towards a lot of different communities, including but not limited to the LGBTQ+ community, the many different religious communities, and we even help students with mental illnesses to make their learning experience a little easier. Each school year is better than the last, and nothing can take away the Penn Griffin Spirit!
The academics are a at a high level but our teachers are amazing at making sure we are immersed in what we are doing. The teachers will never let you fall behind and are very hands on. I have been taught by some amazing people that have helped me to be the student I am today. They also offer AP courses you can take any of the four years you are there, but they are not pressured to you in any way. Being an art school, we also get to be very creative and tie our arts into many things we do. Once a month we do a day where we showcase each art and get to watch or walk through shows and appreciate each others talents. We do not have sports, but our teachers have organized a week each year where we do a spirit week. We get to do activities, dress up each day, and have one day away from classes to get active and have field day. The school is located in a part of our town that is not the safest, but our faculty takes great measures in keeping us safe.
Penn-Griffin has provided me, for the past four years, with a home in which I was able to be myself and flourish. The students that attend this school are of the kindest, most smart and most talented that I have ever met and the teachers are people who actually care for you and your education. They challenge you every day and provide you with everything you need to succeed in college and in life. I love Penn-Griffin!
