Honestly, during my 4 years of high school here, I had a lot of fun and got to go through new experiences with the amount of sports, clubs, and community service opportunities there were. The staff and people there were all very welcoming which let me be more comfortable talking to them if I needed any help and let me open myself up more to see different opportunities that I may not have tried before. I am grateful that I got to be a student there and I hope new students that go to Pearl City High School have a fun experience too!
Pearl City High School is a very welcoming school with staff that love to connect with their students! As a student involved in Student Government, Student Council, and athletics, I can definitely say that I'm proud and happy to be a part of this school because of the hand-in-hand connection that the students have with one another. Every time I step onto campus, I feel safe and valuable. The staff want the very best for you and will go above and beyond to make sure that their students are safe and included. Additionally, the band program is extraordinary and the health sciences program of study is highly involved! With the academy structure, students are able to explore their future career choices, leading onto an effective college and career decision. Highly recommend this school, I love it!
Pearl City Highschool is a great high School. The teachers are always pushing their students to do the best they can. We also have great opportunities like hands on experience, early scholarship chances, and even visiting other states and countries when learning about a certain language. Personally, I'm in band and it was a great choice. Being in band gives you chances to make friends with people from around the island as well as from Japan. They hold a yearly (not anymore due to Covid-19) homestay from schools in Japan. It's a great experience!
