Two of my children are current students at this high school. Both of them are challenged in the school curriculum. The teachers and administrators are available for meetings, tutoring or questions from parents. There are school activities geared toward parent involvement. Coaches are great! Although my children took classes for college credit and passed the classes with high grades they did not pass the college credit test. Students are also allowed to choose courses they desire for electives.
The majority of thier friendships were formed prior to attending this high school.

I loved Pearce High School. The SOS Lifeguards (student volunteers) made transition from middle school very easy for incoming freshman. Pearce High School has everything: athletics, language, math, science clubs and much more. My focus is music, and I played in the Pearce Orchestra all 4 years. I chose Pearce over my city’s Performing Arts High School and I graduated in the top 10. I got the academic prep for college through AP classes AND played challenging music at school and at All State. Pearce places strong emphasis on college prep and offers detailed guidance through the application process, including scholarship search. You'll work hard and you'll have the creds to show for it at graduation. Pearce produces students who are well prepared for life after high school.
Overall, Pearce High School has provided me with a wonderful learning environment. The school is constantly seeking to teach in new and effective ways. In addition to this, Pearce places a special emphasis on connecting with students to hear their feedback on education offered to them. One thing I'd like to see changed is less of a reliance on technology. This day in age, technology seems to be the answer to all our problems. But, there's nothing wrong with the "old-school" pencil and paper.
