Even though I have only been in Peachtree Ridge High School for a year, I was impressed by how diverse the school was. At PRHS, you can easily found many cultural group represents multiples countries. Furthermore, the school also celebrates and participates in many traditional holidays of other countries like Vietnam, China, and so on. Throughout the school year, students at PRHS have chance to participate in multiples national festival where tradition, culture and cuisine from all around the world are presented by many clubs within our school. Also, Peachtree Ridge usually holds multiple celebrations to award students with outstanding academic achievements, such as 'Academic Letter,' 'R.O.A.R.'
Besides from the diversity and excellent academic performance, Peachtree Ridge is still limit in Science, Technology and Math categories since the school is lack of competitions, events for these subjects.

Like it or no, there has always been diversity among students in the classroom, especially at Peachtree Ridge High School. I believe it makes us the great school we are. It is the fact that each and every student is unique. From every circumstance, students bring a varying set of values, ideas, perspectives, and beliefs to the learning environment. Not only do we have plenty of diversity within our school but also many choices for classes to take. The students have the opportunity to do dual enrolment and get a first-hand look at college courses and/or classes. Overall, I have only been at Ridge since my freshman year, I left my Christain Private school to obtain and experience change, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I've made incredible, possibly long-lasting relationships with not just my fellow students, but my teachers as well.
As an Asian American, I never felt uncomfortable or "out-of-place" at Peachtree Ridge because the diversity is prominent. People with cultures from all around the world are seen and appreciated, especially during the legendary, annual Festival of Nations event at the school. Peachtree Ridge accepts everyone and their interests. Everyone. There even is an Anime Club that's really fun. Thus, PRHS actively encourages students to be leaders and members of clubs and organizations they are interested in. Personally, I am grateful for the plenty of leadership skills I learned while being an officer of Student Council and the National Honors Society. Although I made happy memories with my four years at PRHS, I would've loved it if the students at the school showed more school spirit. However, knowing PRHS and their passion for students, I believe that increasing higher school spirit and morale could be achieved in no time.
