I have been a student at Paxon for all 4 years of high school and my overall experience has been great. From the beginning of freshman year till now, the environment at Paxon has been welcoming.I can tell that the faculty and staff truly care for the well being of the students. The counselors have always been a strong support system regardless if students are dealing with academic concerns/personal circumstances. I have never felt unsafe or felt as if my safety was disregarded. Paxon is a school that requires students to give their best while also providing aid when needed. Although the courses are rigorous there are many tutoring opportunities with teachers and other students who have a stronger understanding of the subject. Paxon also has a variety of extracurricular activities as well as, there is something for everyone. I feel as if Paxon has over prepared me for college and have heard the same from Paxon alum. I am very happy of the experiences i have gain while here. Go Eagles!

I love Paxon! I love how the diversity within the school community. The academics are very rigorous with the available AP and IB courses. Though it may sound daunting the teachers are willing to assist any students that need help. There are resources such as the learning lab for tutoring by expert students in the course and many of the teachers have tutoring upon request. Paxon is most dominant in basketball, but offers many other sports, such as swimming, bowling, and track and field. My experience at Paxon SAS has shaped me into a more well rounded person and have made my high school experience very memorable.
My 4 years at Paxon was not how I imagined high school to be but it was not the worst experience. I feel as if the Arts department should get as much attention as other departments and not by just showing up to their performances. To continue, I think that Paxon should have classes that actually get students prepared for what life has instore and not just being academically ready. To add on, I think that Paxon should hire teachers who are passionate in what they teach because if the teacher does not care, they cannot expect the students to put 110% into the work. On a more positive note, I really liked how diverse Paxon is and it especially shows during the International Fair where everyone gets to not also show their culture but also gain community service hours.
