The main thing I like about Paxon is the opportunities given. At this school the norm is well above academic rigor of most other schools so students like myself are put on a higher level academically. This allows students to be allowed a better chance at higher education as well as being prepared for the challenges we may face in a post secondary environment. Students at Paxon are among some of the best equipped when it comes to pursuing education further because of the college level courses required that offer college credit. Something I’d like to see changed however is the lack of sympathy some teachers have when it comes to the workload students have. Sometimes it can be overwhelming and of course that comes with the territory of preparation for college, but it can be difficult for students to balance extracurriculars and succeeding academically.
What I like most about attending Paxon is the challenge that my classes present. The floor level of these subjects is fairly high. Keeping up the pace week after week can be pretty demanding, yet it is really all worthwhile. That moment when you know you have made the grade is extremely gratifying!
As exhilarating as it is to win this learning game, the homework load can feel overwhelming at times. More often than not, each of my class assignments required an hour or more to complete on a nightly basis. I have to say that there have been times when a little moderation in the workload would have been mentally refreshing for me as a student.

What I like about Paxon School for Advanced Studies is that it really prepares you for college. The school offers AP classes, IB classes, and Dual Enrollment so going here really make you stand out on your transcripts and college applications. The classes also give you good GPA boosts. Also, if you pass all the big tests and exams, you can graduate with college credit which means less work you have to do in college!
