My experience at Paulding County High School have had some peaks and valleys. Early on I struggled with finding the right peer group to affiliate myself with. With this I made some decisions that I am not so proud of. As a result of these decisions, in-school suspension and out of school suspension were inevitable. Fortunately, as time rolled by I finally realized that I did not have to be accepted into a group to be happy and excel. I came to the realization that I had goals and for me to reach them I had to depend on my values and beliefs. So, my overall experience at Paulding County High School shaped me into the young lady I am today. One that is chasing her dreams and doing what it takes to reach them and make my family proud, but most importantly myself.

My experience at Paulding County High school is overall good. There can be times that make it not so appealing but the teachers at this school can be phenomenal and caring. If you truly pay attention in class, you can learn some interesting information on a certain subject, but even if you don't understand everything that is taught in class, most teachers provide an opportunity for tutoring either after school or in the mornings.
Overall, it was a decent school, but sometimes the administration was more overbearing than they really needed to be and instead of making students follow the rules it just made more people break them or just stop coming to school at all. The academics were good for the most part as well except for the AP math teachers. Most students who take AP math course don't do well on the AP exam because we are taught how to do it, but not how to apply it to new situations. Although the sports teams weren't the best, everyone had fun . This school isn't bad at all, it just needs some improvement.
