Paul VI has been a second home to me. I have been welcomed since day one with open arms. Paul VI gave me every opportunity to take advantage of. Between the various clubs, sports, and activities, and their dedication to the arts; Paul VI will always hold a special place in my heart. With flexible schedules, I was able to take all the classes I wanted to take as well as be a varsity athlete, lead role in the musical, and class president. At Paul VI they do not settle, they go above and beyond in hopes that their students will receive a once in a lifetime education. For me, Paul VI has been just that!
Overall, I enjoyed my classes, my relationships with other students and teachers, and my time at PVI. The administration does a good job keeping the school clean and safe and seems to genuinely care about its body of students. The school has been making a lot of improvements lately, runs smoothly, and you can tell tuition money is put to good use. There are lots of events for the students and community to engage in. The community feels tight-knit.
I've had an overall good experience in high school. I've made some friends I know will be lifelong friends . I've loved most of my teachers and counselors, and it feels like everyone knows everyone. Good cafeteria food and fun extracurricular activities. Only downside is in senior year I feel like people got careless with what they said/did and who they hurt in the process. And the bathroom stalls keep getting vandalized sometimes. Overall though, good experience.
