Patriot High School is a school with core principles of leadership, integrity, character, and pride. I think the school shows how much they believe in each one of their students to uphold those principles and represent the school daily. The school provides many different opportunities for students in order to grow and expand their knowledge to fit every individual’s interests. One minor thing I would certainly change about the school is to allow more time for lunch and remove the lunch blocks that take place in the middle of a class. Lunch should be a transition and wind-down period to relieve stress, but when students have lunch in the middle of a class rather than directly after one, students tend to over stress or have a hard time refocusing on what the class was discussing before lunch once the students return to class. Overall, Patriot high school has helped me succeed!

Overall, when I was at patriot in 2016 I had an amazing time there. The staff were amazing they really did care about their students and that is much appreciated. I didn't have any problems with the staff it was more the students and who I graduated with. Its your typical high school girl drama you face, but always the staff were like your parents that cared for you and always listened to your problems if you wanted to talk to them. If you had any questions about what they were teaching they wouldn't hesitate to go back over what they just taught. The safety of the students is definitely their number 1 so if fights broke up you know any teacher would just jump in and calm the fights down, the security guard /head of security is just outstanding. I would have never asked someone to keep me safe other than that man! overall a great place to be. Just choose your friends wisely!
I attended Patriot High School for all four years and it was solid! The school is beautiful. There are many clubs/activities/sports to get involved in. Most of my teachers have been wonderful, but like many students, there were some bad experiences regarding teachers. I've noticed that teachers in math/science are not exactly the best, but as I said, only a select few were not great for me. The coursework in every class was challenging, but I enjoyed that. Counselors, to be honest, are not very helpful in the first 3 years of your high school career, but in their defense, I never went to them for help until my senior year. My biggest complaint is the choir program. If you are coming to Patriot and taking choir, be prepared for a massive culture shock from middle school, because of the unnecessary rules and negative environment. Other performing arts classes are phenomenal though. Overall, my time at Patriot High School was really great!
