I've attended Patrick Taylor since my freshman year, and everyone has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. Even though I am Deaf, no one here treats me differently or disrespectfully- not even my peers! The teachers are friendly and intelligent and the students are engaging and interesting. There is never a boring day with all the events on and off campus, especially if you're involved with any of the many extracurricular programs to choose from. Students are welcome and encouraged to break down the walls of prejudice and challenge the impossible to achieve their dreams each year.

Patrick Taylor Academy defiantly prepared my for college. From ninth grade, when I started, you were expected to be independent and keep track of your responsibilities. This led me to be able to balance hours of homework, a job, and all my after school activities. My first semester of college was a breeze, I made the dean's list!
This high school has really prepared me for college. I learned valuable critical thinking skills, made extremely strong connections, and met some of the best teachers that I have ever met throughout my entire primary education. Most of my teachers were sweet and willing to help! Anytime I needed someone to review an essay for me or tutor for the ACT, there was always a teacher willing to help. Not to mention that the counselor there is amazing and sweet. This school has made me a totally different person. I know how to look at the world from different perspectives, and that has made me become open-minded. I'm proud of that, and I can thank my high school for giving me the experience that transformed me. The workload was extremely grueling though!
