I love Pasco High! I was nervous about going at first, because it is a huge school-there are over 2200 students learning in a building built for half as many. Despite the space restrictions, however, the community at Pasco High is like nothing I've ever experienced. While the sports teams aren't very good, there are always crowds at every game, and the band is absolutely amazing! A lot of people consider Pasco High to be the most "gangster" of the Tri-Cities Area schools, it's actually not as bad as they think. One thing I'd like to see change, though, is a higher graduation rate. Lots of students drop out for various reasons, but I know if the school took a different approach to bad grades, fewer people would quit.
I liked that Pasco High School was accepting of all backgrounds. There is a lot of diversity at this school which makes for an understanding atmosphere. The school works to keep us safe. They also help us to have the best high school experience we can have by providing great learning experience and fun! The school provides us with opportunities. I like that there is a place for everyone at the school. I would like to see more music classes, and hopefully more programs that can be tailored to the students' interests.
I love Pasco High School! Everyone is like one giant family. We love to support each other at sport events and other school events. Some people would say that we are low on school spirit. That is not the case, we are dressed in purple ready to go against our rivals. I have learned a lot from this school. Not just academically. I have learned who are true friends and who will stick by my side through the thick and thin. I am proud to be a Pasco Bulldog! Go Dogs!
