Parkwood in general is a great place to raise a family along with sending your kids to go to Parkwood High school. It's a family environment that will give you and your loved ones a friendly welcoming. Attending Parkwood will always be one of the things in my life that I will always be thankful for. It taught me about respect, friendship, morals, hard work, loyalty, education, and how to have a good time!
I like the football games they had. Every school game was entertaining, good organization and saw a great school spirit. I also like that they had tutoring after class, that was very helpful. I would really like that Parkwood had counselors that were more involved with students, specially with sophomores and seniors. Looking for a college and exploring careers/major is very stressful. I feel like at least a professional from each career should go to the school to talk about their professions, so students have more knowledge of what the career they are interested is about. Unfortunately, many do not know their counselors, and that it is a great disadvantage. I met my counselors almost at the end of my senior year, i wish I knew mine way before so I could be prepared and not rush through everything. A school
psychologist would very helpful too, anxiety is very common between students and can affect the student's mental health and therefore their education.

At Parkwood High School, the environment and staff is amazing. The staff is very understanding and easy to learn from and talk to. Anytime I have an issue, I know where to go and who can help me. Alongside, teachers being the best here. The campus is beautiful and the classrooms are always kept neat! Parkwood High is filled with students who are dedicated to academics and sports and I'm glad to say I attend Parkwood High.
