The teachers are all very caring and want to see their students succeed. There are many different groups to find friends in and for the most part the students are very welcoming and accepting of different people. The education definitely prepared me for college, as a lot of material felt like review in comparison to my courses here!

The students at Parkway West High School were very nice, kind, and welcoming. I appreciated how friendly everyone was to one another. The teachers were always very prepared to teach the content and ready to answer any questions or doubts we had. They were strict yet fairly approachable if we needed anything. I loved spirit week, football games, and school dance because I believe it brought the school community together and it was fun to see everyone participate and be included regardless of their age group. The facilities were nice but there could've been some slight improvements, it was well maintained. Academics were very good and I felt like I learned a lot and was definitely ready for college.
Parkway school district is one of the largest school districts in Missouri, but definitely not the best in terms of academic performance and sports activities. Parkway West is supposedly the best among all Parkway schools, but it is difficult to initiate new activities or join new contests or be recognized for your win in the contests, compared to those schools within Ladue or Clayton school district. There is no effort to go to any chemistry or physics contests. There isn't any class to prepare you for AP Physics C. Their science teachers are so bad that some of them just read off textbooks during classes. Every teacher and counselor is just following rules.
