I went to this school from 7-8th grade and some teachers just arent good. But In 7th grade it was extrmely hard to fit in sense it was my first year in middle school but once I got in 8th things got a little better. The administration is not that good they defnitley have favorites like when people get in fights if they like you youll get like 4 or 5 but if not you get like 10. The school overall tries i guess and the food is decent enough and is actually diverse which I do like but the main thing they need to work on is making kids feel more like they belong and checking to make sure teachers are actually teaching the right things and treating students the right way. My spainsh teacher was suspended multiple times for treating students poorly but still works at the school and was never a school from things like "breaking her back, foot" which nobody believes not when I go to high school I will be so confused in spanish.

This is one of the most stressful schools I’ve been to. Walking in the halls is awful, you are constantly being trampled and hit. The teachers hate their jobs, they give you work and just tell you to do it with no explanation. There’s a lot of work, I use my time wisely in and out of class but I still am sleep deprived and depressed. The food at school makes me sick all the time. The main options is freezer burnt reheated microwave pizza or gas station nacho. And the days you feel like being healthy just get Shredded lettuce. The school barely has windows it feels like a prison. The buses are awful always having fights. This school is many full of unnecessary drama and egotistical people.
Parkway NEM is a National School of Character. The culture of inclusivity at this middle school is fantastic. At an age, where pre-teens are discovering themselves, this school is proactive in finding innovative ways to teach and building respect amongst students for themselves and others. The building needs to be updated and I wish there was a proper stage for theater. The biggest problem with this school is it doesn't brag enough about the wonderful things happening here.
