The first time I interacted with upcoming and current Parkside students was in the heat of August my freshman year. I had my apprehensions about joining high school, with the foreknowledge that I was about to be a very small fish in a very large pond, but I was blown away by how supportive and friendly everyone was--I was comfortable with my environment much quicker than I anticipated to be. As school started up, the classes I’ve had and teachers I’ve met showed how devoted everyone was to helping everyone esle succeed, whether it was how the teachers taught the class, or how supportive the rest of the student body was.

Parkside high school has been my home for four years now. I am so happy to be apart of such an amazing school. There are lots of clubs and sports organizations that it makes it hard not to be involved. Now for 3 of the 4 years at Parkside it was under renovation but I made the most memories and the most friends. I love Parkside high school. Home of the Rams!
My experience at Parkside High School definitely helped prepare me for college. The facility members highly encouraged each student to try to get involved with many activites/student organizations as they could while attending this school. Not only are sports important, but your education should be put first when it comes to your personal career goals. I learned that staying involved with Parkside High would create opportunities that would benefit me in the future.
