I liked that Parkmont had communication lines open to parents at any time of the day. The children created a culture within their school to thrive, learn, and engage with one another. There is little to no bullying. The trips were awesome and the staff affords opportunities to each and every child who has little to no experience with activities in every environment. The internships are rewarding and give the child more work experience upon exiting high school.
Teachers are always there to help you individually! You can always count on the staff which I'm thankful for.
I like the fact that you get breaks in between in some classes as well as the internship program they have here. They allow students to pick a site that they would like to intern at for community service hours from 12 noon until 4. There are great trips that the school goes on. Alaska, The Grand Canyon, Puerto Rico, California, and etc. I enjoyed going on the Grand Canyon trip. It was very interesting and opened me up to new risks in life that I took.
