Parker High School Reviews

Some of the best memories I have include Parker High School in some way. A few of my favorite things about the school was how dedicated the teachers were in coming up with ways to help students learn and actually comprehend subjects. Some of the things I wish they would improve on include more courses to choose from for students, more opportunities for students to get involved and lastly, more support from teachers and faculty for any extra curricular activities that students are involved in.
Honestly it’s not bad. I just wish they had a lot more classes, especially honors classes or dual enrollment classes. I also wish they had better teachers and more clubs/activities. There’s not a shortage of clubs, but there could be a lot more. I think maybe the administration should also focus more on each individual student rather than the student body as a whole, because that dehumanizes them. The standardized testing has to go too, because that helps absolutely no one, including the school. The good things about it however are the sports. They have a wide variety to choose from. And there are some really good teachers who actually care about their students. Also the school itself is in good shape, even pretty.
The reason I rate it average is because I feel like the school could do better on supporting their teachers and the electives/extracurricular activities. Parker High has a hard time getting qualified teachers in certain education areas like Spanish. It does have an amazing Math, Science, and English department. Also when it comes to clubs and sports, they can be kind of biased. The teachers really do try their best though.
