I loved the teachers and faculty there! Everyone is so supportive of your success and they truly care about the individual. They make class interesting and push you to learn and think outside of the box in different ways. Parish also has cutting edge programs such as the Leadership Institute, ParishAbroad, and the NASA Rover Team.

There were some good teachers there who truly cared about the students, but others shouldn't have even been teaching. Ever since the new Head of School took over, true concern about students went out the window and self promotion took over. They tout the school as being "inclusive", but so not true. They also say they work well with "learning difference" students. This couldn't be farther from the truth. Often completely disregarding the learning guidelines and accommodations recommended by experts. No dual credit classes. No weighting GPA even though coursework is much harder than public and other schools. Variety of classes were limited. At our time there, college guidance was a joke. I have heard there has been some improvements in that area recently . School spirit is practically nil. Practically more clicks within the adults than the students.
We've had a son and daughter at Parish for over a decade. We love that it's a forward-thinking, inclusive, co-ed environment. The reimagined curriculum and signature programs have provided them a challenging but balanced education. They have participated in everything from sports to the arts and are not only college-ready but are HAPPY people of impact. I highly recommend Parish Episcopal School for those seeing a positive k-12 experience.
