Parish Episcopal School Reviews
Rating 4.21 out of 5 100 reviews
I have been at Parish since I was in 5th grade and I have loved it! The students and teachers are very inclusive to new students. They have amazing and amazing faculty who push you to be the best and is a great college preparatory school.
The math and science departments are very strong. The English department has several good teachers, but the grading rubrics and expectations for students make it a bit difficult to get an A in the class. The history department is very lacking and there is maybe one good teacher that actually teaches the class. The administration is somewhat flexible with student desires. I am planning on graduating early but the whole process was a bit of a nuisance. The college counseling is amazing and they really do make sure you get the needed amount of attention. The athletics are mainly focused on football and some sports get little to no attention.
Parish Episcopal School is a wonderful college preparatory school that has three main focuses in its embodiment of what it means to be a Parish Panther. The main factors which Parish inspires in its' students are Wisdom, Honor, and Service. I have gone to Parish my whole life and I can honestly say that from start to finish, I have truly become a better person. I have had many enjoyable times there. I have participated in nearly every sport, with different end results. I have played for the sake of trying a sport, but ranging all the way to winning a state championship. Furthermore the school is supportive of the students and their ideas. I personally was sponsored by the school to build one of my class projects, and was able to get money from director heads to fund a recess project that is still being used. Without a doubt my classmates and I are leaving the school better than we found it and the school is releasing us better than they found us.
