Paramount High School isn't like any other high school. For example, the teachers actually care about you and won't let you give up. I have cousins going to Jordan and Downey and they keep explaining to me that their teachers don't really care about them and in some cases there on their own. The teachers at my school will even offer tutoring until 7 p.m.. There's a variety of elective classes and sports. The amazing thing about Paramount High School is their CTE program. I am currently involved in the medical pathway, and the amazing thing about that is that I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and when I graduate I'm eligible to work at a doctor's office. Paramount is the only school that provides you with a lot of opportunities. There's a variety of curricular activities such as ASB, Yearbook, Journalism, etc. I'm proud to be a pirate and I will recommend anyone to go to Paramount High School!

Honestly, I love my school. The environment, the teachers, and the students make up the entire school. My school does a great job at trying to get students involved in school activities as best as they can. They introduce the concept of college so easily and daily into classrooms, whether it's through announcements made in the intercom or just calling out students individually to talk about their futures as college students. The school is big and consists of many classrooms and teachers. Each teacher, you can tell, tries to engage in each student's education. I am a junior about to be a senior and throughout my years in Paramount High School, I've never really met a teacher who doesn't care about a student's education. All teachers and staff at the school are hardworking and you can tell they just want what's best for you and your future as a student.
I attend all four years at Paramount High School (PHS). The first year is spent at the West Campus, also known as the freshman campus. This unique set up makes it possible for that class to become close and unified. It creates this community within that class and that way we motivate as well as support each other. The diversityize of PHS made transitioning into college easy. The environment was always safe and I always felt comfortable. Sports made me excited to go to school and to push myself with taking AP classes and having to participate in athleteics
