Papillion La Vista South High School Reviews
Rating 4.03 out of 5 265 reviews
I have enjoyed my time at Papillion Lavista South High school so far. the teachers there all clearly care about their jobs and they do seem to have passion for what they teach. There are plenty of opportunities to learn almost anything. A new STEM wing and a brand new freshman area were added last year. There had been a huge improvement in LGBTQIA+ inclusivity and in black and Hispanic involvement within the school. The community is very close even with almost 1900 students. I am not super involved but I still get to relate to football just as much as I do theater and science! I have noticed that there is much more individuality than in other places, as in there are fewer parent interactions with the school directly. This is nice, it lets students grow and develop at their own pace. Overall Papio South is a very nice school, plenty of opportunities, and overflowing in personality and charm.
Papillion La Vista South High school is a great school. We have clubs popping up based on different interests of students every year and our school spirit is at it's highest during our game days. Our Show choir, band and ROTC also are amazing. The Students and staff are all good people and are all really nice! There are few issues that arise so everyone is pretty relaxed.
As an incoming senior, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Papio South so far. I have always desired for an enjoyable high school experience, and the environment that Papio South gives meets that expectation. The school gives each student a very equal and valuable opportunity to obtain a high quality education. The teachers and administration are all very qualified and supportive to help students grow in their academics and activities. The school provides a great culture and several involvement opportunities. Papillion LaVista South High School has several talented sport programs, as well as many high-achieving clubs and fine art programs. Overall, Papillion LaVista South truly does an outstanding job at making high school a memorable milestone for all of its students while it also prepares its students for life after high school. The school creates a very welcoming and inclusive environment, and it is filled with some of the most kind and hardworking individuals one will ever meet.
